A SPEL – Sociedade Promotora de Estabelecimentos de Ensino Lda, é parceira no projeto “Upskilling school staff responsible for psychological and social support to identify, report and prevent “Gaming Disorders”” que decorrerá entre 2023 e 2025 e conta com parceiros de Portugal, Espanha, Alemanha, Chipre, Irlanda e Áustria.
Objetivos do projeto:
- Dotar os professores e o pessoal educativo das competências e ferramentas necessárias para lidar eficazmente com os desafios decorrentes da transformação digital, centrando-se especificamente no transtorno do jogo;
- Educar os jovens sobre o conceito de identidade digital/virtual e ajudá-los a diferenciá-la da sua identidade na vida real;
- Educar os jovens para a construção de uma relação saudável com os jogos online e a Internet, dando ênfase a uma utilização responsável e equilibrada;
- Criar um programa pedagógico baseado em evidências, adaptado ao pessoal educativo, para melhorar a sua capacidade de prevenir, identificar e reportar comportamentos de risco e perturbações de jogo;
- Organizar uma campanha de sensibilização dirigida aos alunos para aumentar a consciencialização sobre o uso responsável da Internet e a importância de cultivar hábitos online saudáveis.
Resultados Finais:
- Publicação: “Epidemiologia do Transtorno do Jogo nas Escolas: impacto e sugestões sociopedagógicas para a sua abordagem”;
- Guia Psicopedagógico para Educadores;
- Materiais Pedagógicos para Campanhas de Sensibilização sobre Perturbações de Jogo;
- Melhoria da preparação do pessoal educativo para lidar esta nova realidade.

SPEL – Sociedade Promotora de Estabelecimentos de Ensino Lda is a partner in the “Upskilling school staff responsible for psychological and social support to identify, report and prevent “Gaming Disorders”” project, which will take place between 2023 and 2024 and has partners from Portugal, Spain, Germany, Cyprus, Ireland e Austria.
Project objectives:
- Equip teachers and educational staff with the necessary competencies and tools to effectively handle challenges arising from digital transformation, specifically focusing on Gaming Disorders;
- Educate young individuals on the concept of digital/virtual identity and help them differentiate it from their real-life identity;
- Educate youngsters about building a healthy relationship with online gaming and the Internet, emphasizing responsible and balanced usage;
- Create an evidence-based pedagogical programme tailored for educational staff to enhance their ability to prevent, identify, and report risk behaviours and Gaming Disorders;
- Organize a sensitization campaign targeted at students to raise awareness about responsible Internet use and the importance of cultivating healthy online habits.

- Publication: “Epidemiology of Gaming Disorders in the Schools: its impact and socio-pedagogical suggestions on how to address it”;
- Psycho-Pedagogical Guide for Educators;
- Pedagogical Materials for Awareness Campaigns about Gaming Disorders;
